Thank you, Charmaine McDaniel, for all you do in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility (DEIBA) spaces! I love working with you. You always go above and beyond in everything you do. You make a difference for everyone you work with and for social justice. Thank you City Manager Robert Belleman for entering into a community that was experiencing some extremely unpleasant happenings with such confidence and enthusiasm. You immediately hit the pavement running with your excellent blend of excitement, transparency, professionalism and solid leadership. You bring life to City government with your personable, genuine, and engaging personality. Thank you for supporting and building up staff by truly listening with a sincere and mentoring spirit. Just in the short time you have been here, I and several others have noticed such a fresh change and excitement in the air here. THANK YOU!

I want to start by thanking my father who worked in social services for over 30 years. And to all my other friends and family who also work as public servants, dedicating their lives to helping others and inspiring me daily to continue to strive to do the same, you deserve to be celebrated <3

I would like to nominate one of my county's legislators James Nolan. He's absolutely an incredible human not only has he helped me align professionally to support and help community members. He helps community members and truly has a heart for the people. From tree removal to extensive home renovations. If you call on James he will help you! I truly respect his blue collar work ethic as he's also a DPW team member. Literally from the suites to the streets he's a nobel, honest and hardworking example. Also he's so approachable and relatable for the young people of our community. That's how we truly build a sense of community! by supporting each other and ALWAYS uplifting our youth.

As a federal employee working in agriculture, I am privileged to witness firsthand the impact of our work on farmers and communities, both locally and globally. Each day, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and support those who dedicate their lives to feeding the world. From drafting policies that promote sustainable farming practices to collaborating with international partners to facilitate trade agreements, I am proud to be part of a team that works tirelessly to ensure the resilience and prosperity of our food systems. As a federal employee and a member of the agricultural community, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all public servants in agriculture for their unwavering dedication and service, which reaches far beyond borders, shaping the global footprint of agriculture.

I'm grateful to the Public School Teachers who continue to serve our Communities in spite of having "their hands tied" with regard to so many factors that impact their ability to be effective in the classroom; class sizes, behavioral problems, contradictory societal values etc etc. You have my undying gratitude and utmost respect.
