SSA will take on responsibility for providing education and assistance services to 41 million Americans as they enroll in the the new Medicare drug prescription plan over the next year. Meeting these demands would be a major challenge for any organization, but particularly difficult for one confronting the employee “retirement wave” that SSA faces.
