Our Call to Serve network expands to more than 1,400 college and university professionals who promote federal opportunities to students. Members who join have the option to complete our Federal Advisor Certificate Program, which helps career services staff become experts in the federal hiring process.

Forging new pathways into government

The Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program launches with support from Schmidt Futures. In 2022 and 2023, the program places more than 400 paid interns at five different agencies. Today, the program continues thanks to collaborations with agency university, foundation and individual partners.

Expanding leadership training in AI
Expanding leadership training in AI

In fall 2024, the AI Federal Leadership Program enrolls 140 senior executives from almost 30 agencies who oversee $215 billion of the federal budget and more than 27,000 federal employees. Since 2019, the program has reached more than 550 government leaders.

In 2023 and 2024, the program helps more than 400 university staff, including career advisors, faculty, internship coordinators and others, become experts in the federal hiring process and connect their students to career opportunities in government.

The Partnership’s Strategic Advisors to Government Executives network celebrates its 20th anniversary. The SAGE network is a group of more than 100 former federal C-suite-level executives who lend their expertise to Partnership programs to support government leaders at all levels.
