Automating Responsibly: Ethical AI & Benefits Delivery

On behalf of the Partnership for Public Service and the IBM Center for The Business of Government, it is our pleasure to invite you to the Automating Responsibly: Ethical AI & Benefits Delivery invite-only closed-door roundtable for senior federal leaders on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 from 9 a.m.–noon EST. We’re convening leaders from a range of agencies to share best practices, identify common challenges and inspire problem-solving around responsible use of AI and intelligent automation to improve benefits service delivery. 

Our objectives for this Roundtable are to:  

• Help agency leaders share best practices, identify common challenges and inspire problem-solving for improving services through responsible innovation;  
• Understand if and how agency leaders are using artificial intelligence tools and AI-driven strategies for benefits service delivery;  
• Understand how agency leaders are implementing safeguards and improving AI literacy in their use of AI and AI-powered automation with an eye toward ensuring safe, secure, and accurate benefits service delivery consistent with the AI Executive Order and other relevant policy; and    
• Enable leaders to responsibly use AI and intelligent automation within their agencies. 

We expect about 25 leaders and practitioners from federal service benefits delivery agencies to participate in the Roundtable. This engagement will have no press and is free for attendees. 

This inaugural event in our 2024 Responsible AI Federal Roundtable Series will be held on Feb. 21 at the Partnership for Public Service, at 600 14th St NW, in Washington DC from 9 a.m.–noon EST.
